Wrote a call-center application using Cohesion that was used to book vacations. The system allowed hotel vendors to login and change their room rates. Dealt with both commissionable and net-rate inventory booking rules. One of the interesting problems was distributed inventory holds which would lock the inventory long enough for a reservation to be booked on the phone. Handled packages for major events that included hotels, transportation, tickets, etc. Wrote a XML client interface to query flights and car-rentals. Migrated the company off of a legacy system with a seamless transition to the new software.
